FREE COMMUNICATIONS
Free communications may be submitted by full, or daily participants and can take the form of an oral communication or a poster presentation.
Oral communications are allotted 10 minutes. At the end of the morning and afternoon sessions there will be a discussion for the duration of 10 minutes.
Poster presenters have one side of a poster board, poster size: 70 x 100 cm.
The authors of a poster presentation should be prepared to give a short oral summary
of a few minutes alongside their poster.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS
Oral presentations will last ten minutes for each speaker.
Power Point presentations should be ready on CD disks or on pen-drives and loaded in the session room before beginning of the session.
Authors can use their own laptop but are invited not to do so.
They are kindly requested to check their presentation before beginning of the session: a Slide center in the check-in desk area will be available to verify the presentation.

Papers and posters should be presented in English
ABSTRACT
Abstracts (with a maximum of 250 words) must be submitted 30th March 2008.
Abstracts longer than 250 words will be returned to the authors.
ABSTRACTS must be sent by E-mail as a Word file to the following
email: mdelsette@neurologia.unige.it and alice@neurologia.unige.it
The receipt of all abstracts will be acknowledged. Capitalise the title, the name and the address of the presenter. Avoid boldfacing, italics und underlining in the text. Use only standard abbreviations. Abbreviations should not be used in the title. The Committee will also be responsible for acceptance and classification of the communications submitted and will notify the authors of their decision and of the day on which their communication is scheduled to be presented. All accepted abstracts will be published.
Type font “Times New Roman” size 12 pt preferred.
Each abstract will include (see also fac-simile)
- Title
- Authors' names (initials and family name).
- Affiliations of all abstract authors: Department, Institution/Company, City, Country.
- Abstract text is limited to a maximum of 250 words. Figures and tables are not allowed.
- E-mail address of presenting author.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER
Poster presenters have one side of a poster board, poster size: 70 cm wide x 90 cm high, diagrams and text should be large enough to be read from a distance of several meters .
Position title and authors at the top of the poster, as stated on the submitted abstract.
The authors have to advise the Scientific Secretariat of the Congress about the topic of the poster that will be presented.
POSTER ATTENDANCE
In the middle of the morning and afternoon sessions there will be a discussion during lunch from h. 13.30 to 14.30 of Monday 12th May and from 13.30 to 15.00 of Tuesday 13th May.
At least one of the Authors is required to attend his/her position to answer questions by the attendees during the respective session.
The authors of a poster presentation should be prepared to give a short oral summary of a few minutes alongside their poster.
MOUNTING OF POSTERS AND DISPLAY
To increase the opportunities to appreciate Authors' work we will require to mount ALL the poster on Saturday May 10 th, 2008 (from h. 8.30 am to h. 10.45 am) and to leave them exposed for the entire duration of the Congress. Thus even if each Poster Session will be focused on specific tracks, any participant will have the opportunity to read the posters at any time.
Posters are to be mounted by the authors in the allocated places, Authors can fix their poster(s)
in a area corresponding to the poster subject.
POSTER REMOVAL
The removal of posters must be done by the authors by h. 17.00 am on the last day of the Congress. The organizers are not responsible for any item, including posters, left behind. |
